Facilitated Conversations
-
I guide groups (usually family members, but family in an expansive “chosen family” sense) as they:
Explore each other’s feelings and thoughts about mortality, death, and dying
Learn about each other’s end-of-life wishes
Support each other in organizing their estates
Communicate with transparency about decisions that are part of wills, trusts, advance care plans that have been developed with an attorney*
Reduce the stigma around all these topics
*The Untangled Executor does not provide legal advice. If you have made decisions about your estate with an attorney, I can help you communicate those decisions to the people affected.

We start with a free, 30-minute consultation. It’s a chance for you to get to know me and for me to hear more about what you’re interested in.
To set up your free consultation, please fill out the Contact form.
Once you decide to work with me, we’ll figure out the best ways to stay in touch, whether that’s phone, video calls, text messages, email, or even in person, if you live in or near Portland, Oregon.

It depends on your goals.
After our introductory call, I’ll develop a custom proposal that reflects the kinds of help you’re looking for.
Your proposal will include a flat-fee price. Prices begin at $50 for a set of suggested resources and a basic agenda, with customized packages beginning at $175.
When was the last time you and the people you care about talked about mortality in general?
If you have an advanced directive or other document that defines your medical care wishes, you had to name someone to make decisions for you. But have you talked with them about their role or your preferences?
Are you longing to have an open conversation about your end-of-life wishes with people in your closest circle, but you don’t know where to begin?
I can help you identify your communication goals, develop an agenda, and suggest tools and resources that will gently invite your people into an intimate conversation.
I’m available to attend the (virtual or in-person) conversation—or not. If I’m there, I’ll guide the group toward the outcomes you care about most.
